Mi TV Horizon Edition launching in India on September 7

With the festive season soon arriving in India, Chinese tech giant company Xiaomi has now announced the launch of it’s Mi TV Horizon Edition in India. The TV will launch on 7th September in India. Not many things are known about this product yet, but a teaser page by Xiaomi India has revealed some features to create some hype among people, let’s take a look at it.

Specifications:

The Mi TV Horizon Edition will run on the company’s very own Patchwall launcher. The teaser page included launching date and few promising features such as quintessential display tech which suggests that premium screen will be used. Furthermore, the TV is said to provide access to over 5,000 apps, suggesting that the TV will be based on Android with access to the Google Play Store for Android TV.

The teaser also teases the quick wake feature in the Xiaomi’s new Mi TV Horizon Edition, something that was missing in previous TV models. Those TVs lacked quick wake option, with the TV taking around 45 seconds to fully reboot every time it’s switched on, with this we can expect that models from now on won’t have that problem regarding this anymore.
